The night in Kpandai was one that would forever be remembered by the residents who attended the event. People came from the nearby towns to witness their ‘King Of Rap’ in full support and they weren’t disappointed as Poyooyo put up a charged up performance.

The PnP fans roared at each song performed. Even songs that were having zero radio plays were sung word for word by the fans. You would have thought that they were part of the songwriting process.

The crowd at Kpandai on Wednesday dawn was very befitting of the concert’s name, the Val’s Day Concert. The Concert headlined by PnP Music Crew in collaboration with Asase Fm Kpandai started around 10pm with around 2000 music lovers well prepared.

Performances from upcoming artistes preceded the main event. When the main event got going Breakthrough, Pills, Lati Boi, and some dancing crew’s, etc stimulated the music buds of the attendees who had now filled up half of the venue. More music acts in Kpandai could have been added to the list as Brookx, Decyple, Slim Brown, A trois, and many others reside down south.

Things were moving fast. Things moved much faster when Ugly Guy Guy mounted the stage. They guest artists not being known down here in the Kpandai but believe you me, Ugly Guy Guy has a huge following. The stage and sound were well on point throughout the event with only the microphone proving to be the black spot.

As it always happens with Ghanaian events, one microphone has to stop working in the middle of a speech or performance. It might well boil down to just technology failing as or some other weird conspiracy theories. The concert in itself was a blast! Patrons had fun as they were treated to stunning performances from Ugly Guy Guy as he spit more punchlines with a lot of catchy lines.

No one could pinpoint one performance that wasn’t well appreciated, even some upcoming artists who got some negative reception were well received as the event got to some point. Most upcoming Artists put up energy filled moments that assured everyone that the future of Kpandai music is fabulous.

The electrified screamed and cheered when the official mc, King of Rap (Poyooyo), came on stage. the rap god was a delight to listen to and watch. Poyooyo bossed the event! his appearance was another headline for another day. His hilarious pick on his P.R.O drew hearty laughter all round. Poyooyo had churned out a high-octane performance that had the crowd on their feet; the whole night.

The Shahasha hitmaker swashbuckled through hot tune after hot tune during his time on stage. The Highest cheer of the night was when Poyooyo got Ugly Guy Guy on stage. It was a night of Fun,Joy and Happiness as the two mc’s want the freestyle way. Most music lovers wishes every moment was celebrated as Valentine’s Day.
