Born and raised in Freetown, Sierra Leone alongside his twin brother, Paul, P-Kay’s success story is one of dedication, talent and power of social media.
Known by many as Peter A A, the foremost Sierra Leonean TikToker, who boasts over three million followers, has proved that his talent extends beyond his viral videos.
As a multi-talented entertainer, P-Kay captivates audiences with his acting, dancing and comedic skits. In 2022, however, he decided to turn up the volume on his artistic expression.
Signed with Cribs International, P-Kay released his debut single, Scatter, which was produced by Nigerian music maestro, Masterkraft. Fueled by the artiste’s massive TikTok following, the track became an instant hit.
Speaking on his career, P-Kay said: “Music is my passion. It connects with people, brings joy and allows me to truly express myself. As a musician, my ultimate goal is to create music that connects with people on a deep level and brings joy to their lives. I love expressing myself through music and sharing that experience with others.”
P-Kay, however, acknowledged the undeniable role TikTok played in his success. “TikTok helped me overcome my shyness. It gave me a platform, and with the release of Scatter, it became a launch pad for my music. Music and TikTok go hand-in-hand. A song can go viral on TikTok, and creators use music to connect with audiences.”
