Early Life and Education

Crystabel was born in Nigeria on July 9, 1993 to Grace and Goddy. She developed an interest in geophysics, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics from the University of Port Harcourt in 2010.

Subsequently, she pursued her passion for acting, obtaining a Diploma in Acting for Film from the New York Film Academy in 2014. She further advanced her filmmaking skills by earning a Master’s degree in Filmmaking from the same institution in 2024.

 Career

Crystabel’s career spans several industries like acting, modeling, writing and filmmaking. She has held various positions such as project management, senior executive assistant, and business administration roles in the oil and gas sector.

Crystabel has appeared in notable films and TV shows, including productions on Netflix and Amazon Prime such as Idemuza, Queen of the Night, The Lost Okororshi, and The Nigerian Prince, showcasing her versatility across different genres and roles. She has also featured in prominent campaigns and editorials, collaborating with well-known brands and agencies like Elite Models and The Black Wall Street Entertainment.

As a runway and fashion model, Crystabel has participated in significant events, including the Port Harcourt Fashion Show, Lagos Fashion Week, and LA Fashion Week. Additionally, she is a former beauty queen, having won titles such as Beauty of Africa International and Miss Amnesty International.

As an emerging director, Crystabel has directed several short films like Trappily Ever After (set to be submitted to film festivals) and The Room Date, exploring various themes and genres. The filmmaker has penned stories that she has directed, and she’s on her way to becoming an author, focusing on themes related to life.

Personal Life

Crystabel currently resides in Los Angeles, California. She is single and enjoys a variety of hobbies, including traveling, dancing, reading, playing board games, painting, and engaging in fun adventures outside her professional career.

Achievements and Awards

Crystabel has garnered recognition for her contributions. In 2008, she was awarded Best Behaved at the Beauty of Africa pageant for her exemplary attitude and leadership qualities.

She also received the Most Photogenic award, which contributed to her victory in the pageant. She emerged the pioneer Queen (Queen Mother) of Beauty of Africa Intl, and equally crowned Miss Amnesty International in 2011.
