Fast rising musician, Dennis Ovie Okagbare popularly known as Aries, has signed a recording contract with Nigerian-American label, the Black Wall Street led by Ambassador Big Suni.
Aries inked the deal at a brief ceremony held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 in Lagos. According to the artist, he’s excited signing the contract and coming under an international label like the Black Wall Street.
‘I am very excited to sign a recording contract with the Black Wall Street. I ’ve been plying my trade for the past four years. Now, I have the opportunity to fully express myself and raise my game under an international label like the Black Wall Street. I feel comfortable with the record label, and I’m ready to work with Big Suni to take my music to the next level,” Aries said with enthusiasm.
Aries is a versatile artist whose music is soothing, melodious and catchy. He possesses a unique flare for blending and composing Afrobeats songs, even though he prefers to describe his kind of music as Afro mood or Afro swing.
Aries draws inspiration from his environment and life experiences. This much is reflected in his soon-to-be-released single for Black Wall Street.
Speaking on why he signed Aries, Big Suni, who has a knack for spotting talent, said: “Aries is young and talented. He’s blessed with a unique voice and sings a kind of music that can be described as timeless. With the kind of support Aries will get at Black Wall Street, the world is his oyster.”
