For the first time listeners of the new single from ace drummer, guitarist and music producer, Anozie Ikemba, Sisi Acada is a big hit by all ramifications.
Reason: the pulsating Afro highlife beat accompanying a mellow voice singing in Yoruba, all recorded at agreeable tones and levels, seems to make the music ear-friendly.

But then, what do you expect when one of Nigeria’s talented and celebrated music production exports, Femi Ojetunde, produced Sisi Acada? No wonder, since its release, it has been commendation galore not only for the artiste but also the production and management teams for a job well done.

Also, the Internet has been abuzz because of the many streams it is currently generating on YouTube and other platforms.
According to Ikemba, Sisi Acada is a historical song, composed decades ago during his student days at University of Ibadan where he got encouragement from Prof. Femi Osofisan.

UI students of that era fondly remember him for singing Sisi Acada with his acoustic guitar at Tuck Shop close to the theatre. After his graduation, he roamed around the Nigerian art and music circles, played for different bands before relocating first to South Africa and later to the United States.

Soon after his arrival in the US, Ikemba made a song for the city of his residence, Bangor, Maine. The song is currently seen as a community theme vibe, making him very popular. Now, his plan is to make more songs to make an EP.
