Fast rising artiste, Shalom Terem aka Shamzydane has hit the airwaves with a new single titled Alone.
Alone is an Afrobeats song with a brand known as Afro Soul and Afro Swing. According to the musician, “Alone puts someone in a solemn type of vibe. A listener goes into meditation because of the deep lyrics. It is all about my lifestyle, my experiences and my general feelings.”
Speaking on the creative path of the song released on August 20, the 22-year-old singer says, “It is basically talking about my phase of life, the pressure coming as a result of what is happening to me in my current state. It is all about my being. It is trying to figure out myself as I move forward and explaining that I am trying to do my best and move ahead.”
Shamzydane first attempt at the firmament of music was his being featured by Tomi Tribe, a US-based artiste in a track titled, Loba Tan (It’s finished), described as a vibrant Afrobeats cum party song.
Before Alone, the singer from Ogoja, Cross River State, had released Link Me Up, a love/party song that expresses his emotions towards a girl he wants to win.
Shamzydane’s third remarkable experience was Yawa, a duet with Jaypopah. Envisaging a society that is united, progressive and ready to grow, the artiste vows to always be there for the people.
Shamzydane has a scholarly background. He studied at the famed Immaculate Conception Minor Seminary, Mfamosing, Cross River State and University of Calabar where he graduated 2nd Class (Upper Division) in Business Management in 2025.
Meanwhile, Alone is currently making waves on Spotify, YouTube music, Apple music, Audiomack, Boomplay, and Itunes.
