Africa’s premier beauty exhibition and conference, Beauty in the Motherland, which held from October 1-3, 2024 at Eko Convention Centre, Lagos, showcased the diversity, creativity and potential of the beauty industry.
Organised by a team with over 10 decades of cumulative experience in the African beauty market, the event brought together brands, professionals and decision-makers to explore opportunities, build connections, and celebrate the beauty of the continent.
Sponsored by Fidelity Bank, Eucerin, Lagos State Tourism and Nectar Beauty Hub, Beauty In The Motherland opened its doors to over 150 exhibitors and beauty businesses from the African continent, also marking its 2nd year with over 5,000 visitors.
According to the Founder/CEO of Nectar Beauty Hub, Beatrice Eneh, “Beauty In The Motherland brought together incredible talents that needed to be showcased and supported to scale, even to global markets.”
She, however, encouraged the beauty sector to continue to create products for the local economy so it can share with the international beauty industry. Appreciating the beauty industry, Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Toke Benson-Awoyinka, said she would continue to support its development.
