  • Clinches Best Lead Actor & Best Lead Actress awards

It was a night of glamour, triumph and celebration at this year’s Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), which held in Lagos on Saturday, May 10, 2025.

At the prestigious award ceremony, Femi Adebayo’s film, Seven Doors won two of the most coveted awards – Best Lead Actor and Best Lead Actress, which went to Femi Adebayo and Chioma Chukwuka respectively.

Seven Doors, a historical drama series directed by Femi Adebayo, Adebayo Tijani and Tope Adebayo, centers on the story of reluctant monarch, King Adedunjoye, whose reign is haunted by a generational curse. To break the curse, he must open ‘seven doors’ by marrying six more wives despite his deep love for his wife, Amaka.
