Fast-rising singer, songwriter and entrepreneur, Amarachi Florence Ndisi aka Amy Flourish, has unveiled her new project, CAPITAL Refix.
From the stable of Hugsmor Entertainment Limited, Amy’s CAPITAL Refix is aimed at spotlighting Africa’s game changers – those rewriting the money narrative through entrepreneurship, philanthropy, innovation and public service.
Known for blending powerful storytelling with irresistible Afrobeats grooves, Amy takes listeners on a rich cultural journey in CAPITAL Refix, also dubbed Egwu-Itu-Afa meaning ‘who-is-who’ in Igbo.
“This is more than just music, it’s a celebration of legacy. We’re honouring the people who have shaped Africa’s money story – entrepreneurs, political influencers, job creators and history makers. While you vibe to the beat, we want you to feel inspired to make your own impact too,” she says.
In the lyrics, Amy name-drops some of the continent’s most influential figures – from business moguls like Femi Otedola, Mike Adenuga, E-Money and Innoson Motors – to cultural icons like Davido, and political figures including Dr. Patience Jonathan, Atiku Abubakar, Ibrahim Babangida, Adams Oshiomhole, Nyesom Wike and Alex Otti.
CAPITAL Refix serves as the debut project in a series of musical storytelling efforts that shine a light on Africa’s prosperity champions. The aim is to replace the overused narrative of lack with one of abundance, innovation and homegrown success.
“Money is not a dirty word – it’s a tool for empowerment.” Amy reiterates. “Entertainment is a major employer in Africa. So, why not use music to celebrate wealth creation, rather than glorifying poverty? We need to start telling our stories from a place of strength and vision.”
Released via DistroKid, CAPITAL Refix is available on Spotify and other major digital platforms worldwide. With a fresh beat, Afrocentric flair and powerful message, the track is more than just a banger; it’s a call to action.
