The idea that germinated from an unpleasant encounter with a fashion designer served as an impetus for the birth of TemmyDwears, a Lagos-based fashion brand.
Being someone with a high taste for fashion but bruised by the experience of a design gone wrong, Isaac Temidayo Olayinka began to look for ways to make a solid statement in the Nigerian fashion industry. His priority was not to join the bandwagon, but to exhibit his vision of fashion ‘change’ by bringing to the table classic designs.
In 2015, TemmyDwears was established and within a short time changed the face of haute couture in Nigeria. For inspiration, Olayinka relies on artworks and movies particularly those embedded with cultural values. He converts all these into art pieces to suit fashion trends in creating his collections.
Having kicked off with suits and corporate wears, TemmyDwears later rebranded into the design of suits, wisely incorporating a bit of casual aesthetics, which surprisingly became a hit in the industry.
Now, the brand is reputed for its iconic designs in various fabrics, especially Ankara and Adire. In TemmyDwears, modern sophistication meets timeless elegance. The fashion brand is renowned for creating luxurious yet accessible garments that empower individuals to express their unique style with confidence. Its collections blend iconic styles with contemporary trends, resulting in elegantly chic designs that can stand the test of time.
