Popular singing trio, Yaba Buluku Boyz (DJ Tarico, Nelson Tivane and Preck) and founder of Geobek Entertainment, George Beke, have pledged to preserve the Mozambican cultural heritage.

They made this known during their recent visit to the US Embassy in Maputo, Mozambique. The courtesy visit aligns with Geobek’s pan-African mission to close the long-standing divide between the best musicians in Africa, and the undiscovered artistes on the continent, for a chance in the big leagues.

During the visit, the creators of the global hit, Yaba Buluku had the opportunity to explore the new US Embassy building, as well as appreciate the art works therein.

While discussing the future of the creative industry, challenges, opportunities, and their upcoming projects under the direction of Geobek, the music stars lent their voices to the Embassy’s initiatives in promoting and preserving the unique culture of Mozambique, while creating sustainable opportunities for future talents in the country.
According to Beke, “This is yet another testament to my commitment to elevating Mozambican culture to the highest level through the Geobek Standard project, and I promise that much more would follow soon.”
