The inaugural event of Heineken House Experience themed ‘A Day With Thibaut’ animated Lagos and set the city agog, as the premium beer brand delivered a bold, high-energy showcase on May 3.

The occasion was inded the beginning of a multi-day activation designed to bring fans together through sport, music and immersive premium experiences.

Organised to coincide with the high-stakes semi-final stage of the UEFA Champions League and F1 Miami Grand Prix, the Heineken House Experience attracted major stakeholders from Nigerian Breweries as well as esteemed guests, influencers and loyal consumers.

With charismatic Darey Art Alade as host, the night began with a stirring orchestral performance, followed by an in-depth overview of the experience by Uzo Odenigbo, Corporate Affairs Director, Nigerian Breweries Plc.

In his welcome address, Thibaut Boidin highlighted the scale and ambition behind the experience, spotlighting the unprecedented nature of the Hot-Air Balloon activation, Formula 1 moments and UEFA Champions League semi-finals, all designed to showcase Heineken’s commitment to championing memorable, premium fan experiences.

The evening witnessed an electrifying performance by Awanjo dancers, followed by rib cracking comedy from AY (Ayo Makun), who raised the roof with his comic delivery, filling the ambience with laughter. The Loud Urban Choir sustained the momentum with powerful musical performance that had guests on their feet.

At the heart of the evening was a live screening of Formula 1 Grand Prix, where fans and enthusiasts watched an adrenaline-fueled race. Guests enjoyed chilled drinks and curated dishes while connecting over the thrill of the sport in a vibrant, high-energy atmosphere.

The excitement reached fever heights when Johnny Drille took to the stage, delivering a captivating performance of his biggest hits. His soulful set created one of the night’s defining moments, elevating the energy in a way only the Heineken brand could deliver.

Darey Art Alade drew the curtain on the night as he returned to the stage for an exciting performance. This was followed by closing remarks from Sarah Agha, Marketing Director, Nigerian Breweries, who appreciated guests for an unforgettable celebration of premium entertainment.
