Native Media’s CEO, Rogers Ofime, has disclosed that his groundbreaking movie, Conversations in Transit, marks significant milestone for Nigerian cinema.
Native Media is a production outfit renowned for programmes like HUSH and The Johnsons. Featuring a star-studded cast that includes Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Osas Ighodalo, Alex Ekubo, Rahama Sadau, Uzee Usman, Tana Adelana and Tope Tedela, the film promises a cinematic experience like no other.
Shot entirely on a moving train, Conversations in Transit delves into love’s transformative power, portraying it as a force that heals, forgives and transcends obstacles. The release announcement was made during an exclusive screening attended by cast members, advertising partners and sponsors such as TOLARAM (Kellogg’s and Indomie Noodles).
Rogers Ofime highlighted the film’s unique storytelling and its innovative distribution strategy. According to him, Conversations in Transit will premiere on Circuits, a new virtual cinema platform showcasing African content to global audiences. He emphasized further the importance of collaboration and exploring fresh avenues to amplify the value of local productions.
