Afrobeats star, Ayodeji Balogun a.k.a Wizkid, is set to headline the opening night of this year’s Detty December Fest in Lagos.
In a post shared on their official Instagram handle, Livespot360, the organisers, said the festival would take place from December 18-30, featuring 13 days of music, culture and creativity across two stages.
“The countdown to December begins. Wizkid headlines the opening night of Detty December Fest 2026,” the post reads.
The grand opening concert headlining Wizkid is slated for Friday, December 18 at the Detty December Village in Lagos. Time is 6pm.
Describing the concert as the opening of the Detty December season, Livespot360 said, “This is one night the whole Internet would claim it attended. Don’t just hear about it, be a part of it!”
Meanwhile, ticket prices for the opening concert displayed on the Detty December Fest website indicated that General Access tickets cost N50,000, while Golden Circle tickets are priced at N150,000.
The VIP Standing tickets cost N300,000, while tables are available by request through the event’s concierge. Additional information revealed that General Access offers entry into the festival, including access to music performances, food courts and the marketplace. The Golden Circle ticket offers the same access while placing attendees in a section closer to the stage.
The VIP Standing category provides access to a dedicated standing area close to the bars, though the ticket does not include seating.
