Nigerian music stars, Davido, Burna Boy, Asake, Olamide and Ayra Starr have been nominated to compete for trophies at the 66th annual Grammy Awards taking place in the United States of America next year.
A list of nominations released on Friday by the Recording Academy revealed that Burna Boy’s Alone and Davido’s Feel were nominated for awards in the Best Global Music Performance category.
Also, Asake’s Amapiano ft. Olamide, Burna Boy’s City Boys, Davido’s Unavailable ft. Musa Keys, and Ayra Starr’s Rush were spotted on the list for Best African Music Performance award.
Again, Burna Boy and Davido will slug it out as they were both nominated for award in the Best Global Music Album category. While Davido was nominated for Timeless, Burna Boy has his nomination for his album, I Told Them.
The award ceremony will take place on February 4, 2024 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, USA.
