Adejumo Babatunde aka Jasi has emerged winner of the maiden edition of Face of Doings Bitters reality TV show.
After a month of skill and talent display, Jasi from Oyo State defeated 37 other contestants to claim victory at the show. He smiled home with N3 million, Mercedes Benz Jeep, plot of land in Plethora City, and a trip to Spain among others.
While Austin Francisca Jayde from Edo State emerged as the 1st runner-up, Alamu Adedotun was declared the 2nd runner-up. Jayde went home with N2 million, two half-plots of land while Adedotun got N1 million and a half-plot of land.
Mbamalu Valentine, Chief Executive Officer, Red Pastures Limited, producers of Doings Bitters and organiser of Face of Doings Bitters, said the motive behind the reality show was to give back to the society.
“The Nigerian masses need to be encouraged because of the present situation of the country. So, we decided to do something that will benefit the society. That is the main reason behind this reality TV show,” he averred.
The Red Pastures’ boss disclosed further that the contestants were trained in the act of self-discovery, how they can harness their talents, how they can be self-independent, and how to become better entrepreneurs and succeed in business.
“In this maiden edition, we gave winners N30 million worth of prizes and in the second edition, we intend to increase the prize money to N100 million,” he declared.
Speaking on his victory, Jasi said, “Doings Bitters is my new family. I won the Face of Doings Bitters. It was a lovely experience because I was trained to cope in every situation and environment I find myself. I learnt a lot of things. We were taught how to be independent, and that you can achieve anything if you believe in yourself.”
According to Alamu, “The training has exposed me to new ideas and I have discovered a better me. With this exposure, any of us can do better in our area of endeavour, because the competition has brought out the hidden treasures in me”.
