Barrister Damilola Basirat Ayinde Marshal, daughter of fuji music legend, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal aka K1 De Ultimate, has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket to represent Surulere Constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Damilola emerged victorious after a keenly contested primary election held on Wednesday across different wards in Lagos. She had officially declared her ambition to represent Surulere Constituency 2 in March and since then has engaged with the people and leaders in her community.
In her reaction on Instagram, Damilola thanked the people for their support, promising to represent them with diligence and integrity. She also pledged to sponsor motions that would enhance development in Surulere and Lagos State in general.
