The 2024 edition of Kingdom Film Festival (KFF) will not only make a significant mark on the Nigerian film industry, it would also be a transformative experience for participants.

Scheduled to hold at EbonyLife Cinema, Lagos from November 27-28, the

Kingdom Film Festival will parade a coterie of distinguished speakers and filmmakers, including industry giants like Dr. Shaibu Husseini and Femi Odugbemi, who will share their insights on transforming societal mindsets through faith-based content. Michelle Bello, known for her unique storytelling techniques, will also feature prominently, engaging attendees with her cinematic journey and creative strategies.

According to Mrs. Ewoma Luther-Abegunde, the founder and driving force behind Kingdom Film Festival, “This year’s festival aims to not only showcase faith-driven films, but also equip filmmakers with the knowledge and tools to navigate the evolving film landscape effectively. With its focus on merging faith and creativity, KFF 2024 is set to be a transformative experience for participants, making a significant mark on the Nigerian film industry.”

Ewoma, who has been championing the vision of integrating faith and film to shape societal narratives, said there would be an inspiring panel session on effective distribution strategies for filmmakers. The session would feature key industry players from Silverbird Film Distribution, Film One, Sky Cinema, and Nile Entertainment among others.

She explained further that there would be masterclasses offering hands-on learning experiences from top-tier industry experts. Notable sessions include “Producing Success” by Mr. Chris Odeh, “Creative Visionaries in Directing” with Biodun Stephen, and “Acting for Impact” by Blossom Chukwujekwu. Attendees can also look forward to an immersive screenwriting workshop with Damilola Bamiloye and a practical class on smartphone filmmaking with Oladipo O-Fresh.
