For 12-year-old Jessica Mazoje, who recently emerged as the Tourism Queen in the Little Mr and Miss Africa-Nigeria Cultural Diversity Pageant, her dream, more than anything else, was to become a beauty queen.

Mazoje represented the Isoko tribe of Delta State, from the South-South region of Nigeria, in the 10th edition of the beauty contest held in Lagos.
Speaking about her dreams and aspirations, Queen Mazoje said: “I want to be a beauty queen because it has always been my passion. I want to be an actress and a doctor. I’ve always wanted to be a medical practitioner from childhood so that I’ll be able to help those who are in need and give them a healthy life.”

She stated further: “My dream is to help young girls like myself who want to become beauty queens but don’t have the opportunity due to financial deficiency. I’m going to use my voice and position as the Tourism Queen to reach out to them, encouraging them not to give up on their dreams.”
