The capital of Akwa Ibom State, Uyo, was agog penultimate Sunday as ‘33’ Export lager beer hosted ‘33’ Connect Party, transforming the event into a vibrant celebration of friendship, connection and shared experiences.
The show saw a crowd eager to partake in an evening filled with entertainment, as it kicked off with interactive games that fostered connections among participants. Winners were rewarded with fantastic prizes, adding a competitive yet friendly edge to the evening.
One of the night’s major attractions was the much-anticipated raffle draw, which saw numerous guests walk away with exciting gifts. However, the highlight of the occasion was undoubtedly the comedy face-off, which pitted some of the region’s top comedians against each other, in a battle of humour.
The crowd was in stitches as the George Talent team, featuring comedians George Talent and Rufus went head-to-head with the Amicable team, composed of comedians Amicable and Majesty, to deliver their best jokes with each vying for the top spot.
After a heated competition, an online poll was conducted as the audience visited the @33 Export Nigeria on Instagram to vote for the winner. At the end of it all, the Amicable Team emerged victorious with 80 percent of the votes, claiming the grand prize of ₦400,000 while George Talent Team took second place with 20 percent, earning a well-deserved ₦200,000.
Throughout the night, MC Casino, supported by MC Charliebaz, thrilled the audience with a series of hilarious jokes. DJ Cheryl kept the party alive with a mix of tunes that had everyone on their feet.
